Mommy and I were reading books today. Things were going great and I got bored and wanted to play. So, I started rolling around and climbing on things. Mom put the book down. I wasn’t ready for her to stop reading. I like her to read to me even if I am doing other things.
Chase- (handing the book back to her and yelling) READ THIS BOOK TO ME MOMMY!
Mom- (yelling back) YOU NEED TO ASK ME NICELY TO READ TO YOU!
Chase- (again, yelling) YOU NEED TO ASK ME NICELY TO ASK YOU NICELY!
Earlier today I was playing with Daddy. He put me up on a ledge that Mommy does not like me to stand on and I had to tell him “This is not a great idea, Mommy said no.” Mommy says no so much more than Daddy! Sometimes she even says no to Daddy! But, she cannot fight us both! Daddy and I just keep playing and ignore her, until she gets really mad! Then it is no fun at all!
