The Wright Brother's Diary

Life as I know it…

Now that the holidays are over things are back to “normal”.  As normal as life can be when you are 2 1/2.

I am doing so many new things everyday.  My favorite thing, I must admit, is talking!  I am a talker!  (I get this from Mom.)  Mom and Dad and I have so many great conversations.  It is great to be able to communicate this way.  Oh… we have lots of laughs during these talks, they find me to be quite witty!  Sometimes we disagree, too. The other day Mom told me i was driving her crazy and I said it back to her- then we both started laughing.  I’m not sure why, but it didn’t matter- I like to make her laugh!  In fact, I like to make Mom and Dad laugh, as much as they like to make me laugh.  Sometimes I will even just ask Mommy to laugh, and she does- and then we both just start laughing- we are silly! And I love that now I can tell Daddy that I think he is funny- because he really is!  Everything he does- he cracks me up!

I am also becoming quite the helper.  You should see my sticker board- it is full of stickers that I have earned for doing good things.  Things like, helping to pick up my toys, helping to pick out my clothes (this saves Mom and I from a lot of unnecessary arguing)  being good and helpful while we run errands.  Sometimes I even help with things I am not expected to, like I love to help in the kitchen!  I am an excellent cook.  I even help at the grocery store- they have these neat little carts that I can push around and collect the items we need… and some that apparently we don’t.   One day on a trip to the market, Mom and Dad were looking at all of the fun things in the bulk food section and I saw some bins of bulk chocolate.  So, I thought i would help out and just load it into our cart.  Mom and Dad said there was no way we could eat that much chocolate!  I disagreed.

Other than that I have just been keeping busy- fixing up things with my screwdriver and flashlight.  I love to fix things, I mostly work on my train!  When Dad is fixing things and he needs a tool- he sends me to grab it for him.  I like to be helpful.  I  also, like to dress up like Dad when I fix stuff, put on my shoes and my hat.

Well- that is all for now.  I will post more later- because I have a ton of photos.  But, these are my favorite things right now- and I just wanted to jot down somethings before I forget!
