The Wright Brother's Diary

Cheerio!!

Hi everyone! This is Kristin. I am writing in Chase’s blog because he is at Granny & Papa’s for the night. Chris’ back has been out this week and Chase has been waking up every few hours for the last couple of weeks. Needless to say, there is a sleep shortage at the Wright house. So Granny was kind enough to take Chase home with her (I know Granny and Papa are just hating having Chase all to themselves, I am sure they are miserable:) Granny had a little smirk on her face as she pulled away, with Chase, in her car. And when we called to check in, Chris said that Papa was not even listening to him, because he was playing with Chase.

Chris and I are looking forward to getting some sleep! Chris is already in bed. I am just looking at pictures of Chase and thought I would share some with all of you. He is just so cute! Even though I am happy to have this time to rest, I miss his little smile. He is very sweet and cuddly at night, and I miss him. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps, unfortunately he isn’t doing much of it. He just wants to be held all night, Is this so much to ask?

Anyways. We started swim lessons again this week. Chase was very excited to be back in the water. As soon as he saw the pool, he tried to jump out of my arms. He could not get in the water fast enough, and he instantly started kicking his legs when he hit the water. So cute!!!

Also, Chase is now officially eating Cheerios! He loves them! He also tried Raisin bran, but found it to be a bit dry.

Chase can pull himself up on his own, but he is still a little wobbly and has trouble standing for too long. He is rolling all over the place, and is practicing his crawling stance, but usually just ends up diving face first into the floor. He is determined, and we know that he will crawl in his own time.

I am sure he is having great time right now, and I want to thank Granny and Papa for taking Chase. I think it is good for all of us.

Here are some photos: Enjoy!

Best,
Kristin
