Today Chase asked me- “Can we play the game where you ask me who I love and I say someone’s name, not yours- and then you tickle and torture me until I say your name”. Ha~! I didn’t even realize I have been playing the very same game with Chase that my Aunts played with me when I was little. This is another version of “Who’s your favorite Aunt”. One of my favorite childhood games. I’ve still never been able to choose! But, don’t tell them!
Tormenting children is definitely a Beauchemin family tradition. I think I even have “a claw” that would make my Uncle Greg proud. Getting a good claw on some ribs or thighs, and hearing that giggle they let out until they can no longer breathe- it’s almost as good as those little hugs they dispense at their leisure.
I now realize, they probably enjoyed this as much as all of us kids did. I know I do!
