Hi All!
It has been a while since my last post, so I have quite a bit to report.
Halloween was lots of fun! Mom and I spent it with our good friends, the Klauers. Uncle Curt, Aunt Joan and my cousins came, too. Mom said that this is what we do every year. I stayed with Mom, Aunt Joan and Carla. Everyone else went Trick or Treating. I am too little, and I do not eat solid foods yet, so I did not get to go. Instead, Carla held me all night.
My Auntie Hollie came to visit this weekend. She is so nice. It rained the whole time she was here!! So, we stayed in our pajamas for three whole days! We hung out at home and watched movies and ate, and Mom and Aunt Hollie talked alot!
I had my 2 month, immunization shots last week. The shots made me a little sleepy for a few days, but I did not have any bad reactions (whew!). The doctor said I weigh 15 pounds 1 ounce, and I am 25 1/2 inches long.
I have been spending time, by myself, on my playmat. I can now reach for the hanging toys and grab on to them, if I pull on the toys hard enough, lights and music go off. I really enjoy music and lights!! I could do this all day, well, for at least 15 minutes at a time. After I play on my playmat, I have tummy time. I still do not like to be on my tummy!! I cry until Mom or Dad pick me up. But, they insist that they are doing this for my own good, that it is harder on them, than it is on me. I will believe that when I see them laying on their tummy’s, crying, grinding their faces into the ground.
Next week, my Mommy is taking me to California! We are going to see Grandma and Grandpa Fossey. Grandpa Beauchemin is going to come and visit me, too. I am excited to see all of them! Mom said that she is going to take me to see the ocean while we are there. I guess there is a lot of sand and water at the ocean. I am interested to see what this “ocean thing” is all about.
I will make sure and take lots of pictures and make notes, to share about my first trip!!
