Chase is really into the Hobbit right now. So for his birthday Sawyer got him a Bilbo costume. He has not taken it off since.
So we went to Mt St Helens yesterday with Grandma and Grandpa. Chase is in his costume and we go into a convenience store and the kid working at the counter says, “hey Bilbo.”
Chase shyly answers, “hi.”
After we get back in the car Chase is so excited that he’s been recognized!
Later on the way back we happened to stop at the same store. The same kid was at the counter and again says “hey Bilbo!” He pauses a second and then says, “Hey! There and back again, right?”
