Was a huge success! Chase LOVES kindergarten! His teacher is wonderful! We definitely made the right choice with this teacher. When we transferred Chase to PM Kindergarten, I was dreading the switch. Sawyer with school in the AM, Chase in afternoon classes. But, with Sawyer only going twice a week, we’ve enjoyed our mornings. It’s also nice to get one on one time with both boys every week.
This morning when we woke up We went outside and I had a latte while the boys rode bikes. We just enjoyed a peaceful morning. It was wonderful!
Sawyer did so well at Miss Marie’s! Even though he’s the youngest, he’s keeping up with the other kids. It’s nice that he is there with friends he knows well. It made it all that much easier for him to adjust. Of course, he just walked in to class and started playing. He didn’t even wave good-bye to me or Chase. He’s too cute!
Per our tradition, we went for ice cream after the first day of school! I have to say, I was as nervous as Chase. My stomach was in knots waiting for school to get out! I couldn’t wait for the details of their days!!! Seeing Chase smiling and standing by his teacher at the end of class and hearing every detail and watching his excitement as he talked about his day- may be one the the awesomest moments of my life. I love that the boys are in good schools with wonderful teachers. I’m excited to watch them learn and grow and make new friends! It’s going to be a great year!!!
