This is the last known picture of me with my Binky. For a long time I only got to use it when I was in bed, but now it’s gone altogether. Mom said the dentist told her it was messing up my teeth or something. I still miss it. I did get a Oopsy care bear because I’ve done such a good job without it. I do love Oopsy, but it’s not the same. Also, since then I’ve really lost interest in my two most comforting things in the whole world – Blue and White – my blankies. I just can’t have Blue and White without Bink. They’re a team.
Anyway, I just felt like I had to say something for the loss of my friends.

Chase, sorry to hear you miss your binky so much. I know it is hard to comprehend now, but this is great training for future life experiences. As you get older, you will find all sorts of really fun enjoyable activities that you will be prohibited from enjoying. The logic that “it is not good for you” is commonly used by those who want to crush a guy’s ability to have a good time. Fortunately there will always be another opportunity to take up a new activity that is even more fun, which they will say is not good for you either!
Those of us that are undaunted in our pursuit of enjoying life have learned one valuable lesson to counter this, just say”OH..I forgot”!!
