Just wanted to wish you all a good day of LOVE! Here are a few recent pictures of me out on the town.
This is the tractor outside of the Market. That is how Mom gets me to go to the store- the promise of sitting on the tractor. If I am good while Mom does her shopping, I get to sit on it again before we leave. That my friends is The Art of the Deal.
This is just another shot of me at the mall. I like to climb to the top of everything and shout out, “Look at me, now!” Invigorating!
For tonight, I have planned a romantic, Fond-OOH dinner, prepared with the finest of cheese! For dessert- a decadent bowl of rich, creamy melted chocolate! We will dip strawberries, bananas, graham crackers and MARSHMALLOWS! (Those are just for me!:) Little white, fluffy puffs of heaven! Then, we will all cuddle up to watch a special movie that I have selected just for this occasion- it stars one of my favorite actors, Sir Charlie Brown. (Why the Academy has never recognized him?…) A fabulous evening for my Valentine’s- Mom and Dad! (It has to be this way until I am old enough to get my own.)
I hope you all enjoy your day of love, with the ones you love!
Love, Hugs and Kisses!
Chase
Hi Chase.. looks like you have been having quite a time. I am really glad to hear you are feeling better. Your mom probably got tired of me calling to see how you were doing..I got lots of updates from her. It can be rough on a guy when he is under the weater like that. On a bright side it can get you extra privelages if you don’t push it too far.
I know you probably already know this but I thought I would bore you with a few facts about the tractor you are sitting on, since I spent more than a few days looking at the back end of ones just like that in my youth when we bailed hay on the farms. It wasn’t an ideal summer vacation but it paid a buck an hour!! (seemed like alot at the time). Anyway, it looks like you are sitting on a Farmall model “A”. They were comparatively small compared to other farm tractors that did the heavier work at the time. The “A” did lighter chores like bailing hay or cultivating. The Model “H” did all the big stuff. They started making them in 1939 (about the time the dinasors disappeared I think). I know I was not born yet so they seemed old. We used to get in trouble when we went to Grandma Beauchemin’s house because she lived real close to a tractor dealer and we thought it was fun to move the tractors by putting them in gear and stepping on the starter switch pretending we were driving….until the battery was dead. Don’t know what the big fuss was all about…I thought it was quite ingenious.
I get carried away with the storie but hope you enjoyed it.
P.S. Some models have a pull lever for the starter under the steering column, just in case mom ever turns away!!!
I recommend the lower gears, you don’t go as fast but the battery lasts longer. Happy motoring….Love you buddy.
