Well, it was granny’s birthday last weekend and we went up to Anacortes to celebrate. It was nice to get to see and play with everyone! I was told not to disclose granny’s actual age, so don’t ask.
Mom and I made her a coconut cake that was really, really yummy. Flour is fun to play with! I also particularly like the berry pie that Claire made for her. I like pie.
Oh and for her birthday present, I’m going to have a little brunch with her! My servants….. er…. my mom and dad are going to cook for us, so we can just spend the day together without a worry in the world!
I hung out with my great uncle Doug and great-aunt Brenda – that was nice. He has a funny “beard” thing that’s fun to play with. I also got to eat the most amazing food – RIBS! Mmmmmmmmm. I love food that has a built in handle! All food should be like that!
Some of Granny and Papa’s friends came over too. It was fun playing with Diane and laughing at crazy Bob!
Oh yeah, and Emma just got back from some weird place far away and brought back presents for everybody – she got me a stuffed tower named eye-ful!!
Lastly, I got to play with my favorite things in the whole world – WHEELS! There was a Bar-B-Q with wheels on it, the piano has wheels on it, a toy truck with wheels on it, even the dinghy has some wheels attached to it. But best of all, I found this big green thing with huge wheels on it! I couldn’t get them to roll very well, but I tried. Mom and dad say my uncle Brian might be able to get me a job when I’m older…
Anyway, I’ve got to go before I get caught on the computer again.
