I am very disappointed! Dad got all these fireworks, and I didn’t get to see any of them! I was asleep! Can you believe it! But, we did get to spend a week a Granny and Papa’s house. We played on the deck, and just relaxed. It was nice to have Dad with us everyday. I am super bummed that he has to go back to work tomorrow. Mom and I really enjoyed all of the time with him.
We came home on Thursday, and on Friday Mom and Dad took me to Pike Place Market. It was so busy, there were people everywhere. We didn’t stay long, but I had my first Piroshky (beef and cheese). All we came home with was a couple of bags full of fruit and vegetables. I wanted some doughnuts!
I know it has been awhile since my last post, it has been crazy times at my house. But things are back to normal now.

looks like a great trip. Chase, don’t worry, Charlie missed the good fireworks too. However, next time you are at Pike Place Market, I would suggest screaming bloody-murder until you get a donut..they’re too good to pass up.
Chaser, you are looking great. Looks like it was a pretty neat 4th. From the looks of it, you did miss quite a fireworks display. We may have found one of dad’s weak spots. Log it down for use later when he starts telling you how dangerous something is that you want to do!!! These things come in handy. Also, whenever he says “don’t tell your mother”, write those events down too, they can be very valuable later.
The parade was pretty cool I bet, not so sure exactly what part of town you were in from that one picture.
