Whew~! Time sure does fly! 9 months has already come and gone. I am happy to report that I am healthy and fit. My doctor was very happy with my progress. I am still maintaining my boyish figure at a good stable 22 lbs., and I am 31 inches tall. I only had one shot this time, which was nice. I did not even cry. This obviously impressed the ladies, or at least Mom and my Nurse, because my shot was followed with hugs and kisses- and they were telling me how brave I was~ I played it off like it was no big deal!
So, enough of that- I am on the move! I see walking in my near future, and I can’t wait! Mom and Dad, however, they think they are so clever~ they have installed these “child proof” type contraptions~ we’ll just see. Oh yes~ we will see! My day will come when my small motor skills are so keen and so sharp and so fine~ that no strategically placed piece of plastic will keep me from getting into the cupboards! Their weak attempts to keep me down, only strengthens my will! This is an outrage!
On the other hand, they do keep me entertained quite a bit. Like Dad is teaching me to play the guitar. And Mom took me to the Seattle Art Museum last week. We all play games together, read books and sing lots of songs. They do love me a lot!! I mean a lot!! I can get anything I want from them- they think they are tough- but I smile at them, and they melt like a pat of butter on a piece of cinnamon toast! (Yummy! Now I am hungry. Maybe if I cry Mom will bring me a midnight snack- however, I have a better chance of getting cookies out of Dad- Dilemma!)
I now eat pretty much everything~ with the exceptions of a couple of things, things I will choke on- and things that will Mom and Dad swear will kill me, instantly- yes they are nuts! Speaking of nuts- can’t have em’! But, I eat veggie burgers, ravioli, toast, blueberries, yams… everything! Mom even made me my own heart healthy cookies! They are applesauce oatmeal cookies, and I love em!
Here are some pictures of the last couple weeks.. Some are pics that Mom took of me, with her phone camera, when we were out and about- and some are of me and Dad playing outside and also our picnic with The Bachlers.
Over and out!
